Grace Nolan has joined Sniffen Law Firm and serve the Firm’s clients as a paralegal. Ms. Nolan has worked in the legal field for over 10 years, the last 4 years focused on providing litigation support in areas of Labor and Employment Litigation, Commercial and Corporate Litigation, and General Tort and Insurance Defense. Ms. Nolan is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Sociology Minor and earned her Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Tallahassee Community College. |

Sniffen Law Firm is pleased to announce that J. David Marsey has joined the Firm. David will continue his practice in the areas of employment litigation, civil rights defense, general tort and insurance defense and commercial litigation. David received his B.S. in Criminology and his J.D. from Florida State University where he served as an articles selection editor on the Law Review and graduated with high honors. Before joining the Sniffen Law Firm, David worked at another Tallahassee litigation firm. He is a member of the Order of the Coif and the Labor and Employment Law and Trial Lawyer sections of the Florida Bar. Prior to attending law school he served as a law enforcement officer and investigator with the Tallahassee Police Department and Florida Department of Insurance, Division of Insurance Fraud. Mr. Marsey is also experienced in investigating traffic accidents; violent and white collar crimes, and insurance fraud. He has also served as a Certified Legal Intern Prosecutor in the Felony Division of the State Attorney's Office of the Second Judicial Circuit. |

Sniffen Law Firm Submits Amicus Brief in Immunity Case |
| Sniffen Law Firm recently filed an amicus brief in an important case addressing whether the sovereign immunity caps under Florida law apply to discrimination and retaliation lawsuits filed under the Florida Civil Rights Act. In Zamora v. Florida Atlantic University, the 4th District Court of Appeal held that the damages caps do apply to such actions when they are filed against the State of Florida and its subdivisions.The amicus brief filed by the Firm argued in favor of applying the caps. |
