The list of 1,012 honorees includes attorneys in private practice as well as top government and non-profit attorneys. The winner list represents just over 1% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida.

The Firm is pleased to announce new associate attorney, Mitchell J. Herring

We are pleased to announce that Mitchell J. Herring has joined the Firm as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the Firm, Mitchell was a Senior Attorney in the Florida Department of Management Services. Mitchell earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He serves on the Board for the Asian Coalition of Tallahassee and is an Eagle Scout. Mitchell will represent employers in state and federal court as well as administrative forums in all manner of labor and employment issues.

Sniffen & Spellman, P.A. sponsored the 12th Annual Working Well CEO Breakfast at the Turnbull Center on January 30th.  Working Well is an organization that connects workplaces with wellness with the mission of making Tallahassee a healthier city.  Michael Spellman and Lisa Barclay Fountain attended as firm sponsors and Kevin Kostelnik serves as a Working Well board member.

We are pleased to announce that Elmer C. Ignacio has joined the Firm as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the Firm, Elmer was an Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Litigation Bureau for the State of Florida.  Elmer has significant employment litigation experience and will represent employers in state and federal court and administrative forums.  Elmer is a graduate of the University of Florida and the Florida State University College of Law.
