Robert J. Sniffen

Robert J. Sniffen is the founder and managing partner of the Firm. His practice encompasses all areas of Labor and Employment Law. He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Sniffen represents employers statewide in federal and state court and before administrative tribunals, and also provides advice to employers regarding personnel and workplace issues.

Mr. Sniffen has been active in the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Florida Bar and served as its Chair from 1999-2000.  He is a member of the Academy of Florida Management Attorneys, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Sniffen has received an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America publication in Labor and Employment Law. He has also been named to Florida Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the area of Labor and Employment Law (top 2% of Lawyers Practicing in Florida). Terry J. Harmon

Terry J. Harmon practices in the areas of Labor and Employment Law, Administrative Law, School Law and Commercial Litigation. Prior to joining Sniffen Law Firm, Mr. Harmon practiced Commercial Litigation in Tampa, Florida.

He received his B.S. in Communication Studies, cum laude, from the Florida State University and his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Harmon served as an Acting Assistant District Attorney General in Knoxville, Tennessee and as a Certified Legal Intern with the Pinellas County Public Defender’s Office. He was also the Magister of Phi Delta Phi’s Cardozo Inn Honors chapter and the recipient of the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award. Download VCARD

Slade V. Dukes

Slade V. Dukes received his A.A. from Santa Fe Community College. He received both his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida, where he also received a Certificate of Concentration in Political Campaigning. He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, where he also received a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy.

Throughout his college career, Mr. Dukes was actively involved in the SFCC Student Government Association, the SFCC Speech and Debate Team, the UF Speech and Debate Team, UF Mortar Board, the Stetson Trial Team, the Stetson Moot Court Team, and the Stetson Client Skills Team. He was the first law student ever to serve on all three Advocacy Board competition teams. Mr. Dukes was the recipient of both the Stetson University College of Law William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and the Stetson University College of Law Walter Mann Award.

Prior to joining Sniffen Law Firm, Mr. Dukes worked as a Senior Project Manager for a governmental consulting firm. As a consultant, he assisted public and private sector entities throughout the state in developing and implementing a wide array of revenue enhancement strategies and financial funding solutions for a variety of capital programs and service needs. Mr. Dukes also worked as an Honors Attorney for the Office of the Attorney General. He was assigned to the Economic Crimes Division where he worked on matters involving false and deceptive trade practices, racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations, and price gouging. J. David Marsey

 Mr. Marsey practices in the areas of employment litigation, civil rights defense, general tort and insurance defense and commercial litigation. He received his B.S. in Criminology and his J.D. from Florida State University where he served as an articles selection editor on the Law Review and graduated with high honors.  He is a member of the Order of the Coif and the Labor and Employment Law and Trial Lawyer sections of the Florida Bar.

 Prior to attending law school he served as a law enforcement officer and investigator with the Tallahassee Police Department and Florida Department of Insurance, Division of Insurance Fraud. Mr. Marsey is also experienced in investigating traffic accidents; violent and white collar crimes, and insurance fraud. He has also served as a Certified Legal Intern Prosecutor in the Felony Division of the State Attorney's Office of the Second Judicial Circuit. Download VCARD  

Donna M. Rogers

Donna M. Rogers serves as Firm Administrator and is the Executive Legal Secretary to Robert J. Sniffen.  Ms. Rogers graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English-Creative Writing and earned her legal assistant certification from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She has worked with Mr. Sniffen since 2001. Grace A. Heron-Nolan

Grace A. Heron-Nolan serves as a paralegal with the firm.  Ms. Nolan has worked in the legal field for over 10 years, the last 4 years focused on providing litigation support in areas of Labor and Employment Litigation, Commercial and Corporate Litigation, and General Tort and Insurance Defense.  Ms. Nolan is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Sociology Minor and earned her Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Tallahassee Community College.
